What is FISM?
The international Association of illusionists has been successfully existing for more than 65 years and was established back in 1948.
Franciums. Today, it is the most respected and consists of many communities (more than 80) of magicians, with more than 50 thousand registered members from 50 countries.
The goal of FISM is to unite all existing communities of illusionists, as well as to promote the improvement of the art of illusion and magic.
FISM was created to perform the following tasks:- development and promotion of the art of magic in its traditional way, preservation and study of its history;
– coordination of the FISM member communities, increasing their authority and facilitating the exchange of experience between them;
– countering plagiarism;
– organization of international competitions and Championships and supervision of continental competitions of magicians.
Thus, the international Association of magicians and illusionists protects the rights and intellectual property of its members, and fights the copying and production of magical inventions that do not meet generally accepted standards.
